Born in Calgary of Canada, teacher Anisa received the university offters from Harvard, Stanford, Princeton and Yale after her graduation from the United World College of Southeast Asia in Singapore, as a student of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP) .
She completed undergraduate studies at Harvard University in physics and philosophy (Honors) , where she also worked as a peer tutor for the Harvard Bureau of Study Counsel for single variable calculus, multi-variable calculus, and electromagnetism. She also worked for physics and mathematics at the IB World School Stiftung Louisenlund in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, where she taught IB Standard-Level Mathematics, IB Standard- and Higher-Level Physics, and TOK.
As an educational consultant, she taught IB HL Physics online to a cohort in the final year of the IB Diploma Program at the Inter-Community School in Zürich, Switzerland. Teacher Shannon is an award-winning writer. Her poems, stories, magazine articles, and screenplays have won national writing contests, and she recently was accepted into two prestigious TV writing fellowships in Toronto and L.A. She writes under a pen name.
Since earning a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, she has helped hundreds of young students improve their writing, win writing contests, and learn to love creating writing. Last year, 80% of her students had their poems and stories advance to the second round in the Polar Expressions National Writing Contest and have their work published in their books. In addition, one of her grade 4 students won 1st prize in this very competitive writing contest. Many of her students won first or second prize in the Story Studio story writing competition last year.

Prior to joining the faculty of Dankook University in 2005, Professor MacDonald taught at Queen’s University School of English at Kingston, and Seoul Women’s University.
From March 2005 until December 2016, he taught English Rhetoric and Composition in the Department of English Language and Literature, the Department of British and American Humanities, the Graduate School of TESOL, and the Graduate School of English Education. In addition to the duties at Dankook University, from 2014 to 2016 Professor MacDonald was an adjunct professor at the Korean Institute of Justice. His students have achieved outstanding results in AP exams in 2023.
During his tenure as Professor of English Rhetoric and Composition at Dankook University, Professor was nominated for teaching awards on three occasions and consistently ranked in the top ten percent on university teaching evaluation surveys.

Moon has over 10 years of experience teaching and mentoring high school students, with a focus on AP-level Biology and Chemistry, as well as providing college counseling. Ivan has been excellent in mathematics since childhood, and has won prizes in the provincial mathematics competition in both junior and senior high schools. After graduation, he worked as a high school math teacher in a number of well-known education groups. In Xueersi Education, he was responsible for teaching and research and courseware production. He then spent years as an EFL instructor and other education management roles in different education institutions and colleges. He had been an instructor teaching Advanced Placement (AP) Psychology, AP Language and Composition, AP US History and AP Art History and Drama director at Beijing Academy in China.
His background in dealing with a myriad of educational content providers (software and teaching materials) has given him an innate understanding of selecting the appropriate materials for students, teachers, and institutions. The combination of being able to create tailor made curriculums and matching them with the optimal learning resources makes Mr. Daley an excellent asset as both a teacher, curriculum developer and teacher trainer.

Dr. Sonia SOLTANA was born in Paris, She attended Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, obtained Bachelor degree Fine Arts, Master’s degree, Fine Arts and Diploma of Doctor, Fine Art, Earned doctorate PhD.
Dr. Sonia studied visual arts and mostly met students from all over the world. She taught visual arts in various colleges in Paris to students from different backgrounds and age groups. Dr. Sonia explores different skills to teach, including usual activities: rituals, nursery rhymes, phonology, mathematics, album reading, leading virtual tours of museums and monuments. She is familiar with the use of the Parisian cultural places and educational websites, and also with rich experience in supporting students to prepare for TEF Canada (Test d’Evaluation de Français).
Dr. Sonia is passionate about teaching and is committed to supporting, encouraging and inspiring students. She just moved to Vancouver and hopes to share her experiences with students and lead them to explore the culture and life in France.
